Turkmen pupil becomes the winner of the International Chess Tournament in 17 years old category in Sochi

The World Chess Tournament for 7 to 17 years old pupils, where Turkmen player Saparmyrat Atabayev won the gold medal, was held in Sochi (Russia).
Hundreds of chess players from 30 countries took part in the competitions. S. Atabayev won seven scores out of nine available, having added another “gold” of the world championship to his collection. It is worth mentioning that the student of Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Aydogdy Atabayev has a number of achievements of international level including the gold prize of the World Chess Olympics, which was held in Istanbul in 2012.
Besides, the rating of talented chess player includes the silver prize of the largest tournament, which was held in July of the last year in the capital of Russia, the Moscow. At the same time, Saparmyrat called more famous chess players, the grand masters and famous chess players, where he is one of the best, to compete him.
S. Atabayev is also a national record holder of number victories in Turkmenistan Junior championships. He won the first place for more than 20 times.
