Indoor Athletics athletes compete in 13 track, field, combined and team events. The competition includes field events such as long jump, triple jump and high jump. Track events include short, middle and long distance running and hurdles. Most athletics events do not require any specialised equipment, testing a range of physical attributes. Shot Put is the only throwing event held indoors due to space restrictions.
